New Zealand / Australia Trip – February 2006
I got the opportunity to see my little nephew Amaran again and he’s grown! He came shopping as soon as I touched down, but then that’s typical of his mother, my sister Papoose. So now we have nicknamed him Poose-in-boots. So while he was out in Daycare, I took the opportunity to Peugeot style his 101 – his first car!
This time, I got to see more of New Zealand – Jeshu, Paps and Amaran took me to Taupo and Rotarua, where we got to see some great sights. Even swam in the natually heated pools, incl. little Amaran, who was thoroughly enjoying the warm water. Also, added to my rock collection, with some sulfur obtained from the volcanic rocks there.
On my stay in Australia, I managed to clear and ship out all my belongings in Australia, incl. my beloved car. This was the last lot of things to send, and finally I had got out of the parents house in Carrington – never to return. Bit tired of Sydney now, so I think I will move to Melbourne, just to be close to the relatives!
