Project: 504Cab
Been working on this classic from 1973, a LHD 504 Cabriolet TI imported from France. I have been looking for a later model, but the Mark 1 is so much easier to work with, with more parts available. Had to go shopping in Germany, France, Italy, and even Australia for bits and pieces.
Had the seats re-upholstered by AutoTrim in Birmingham, by the same guy as those used in Chasing Classic Cars. The Chrome was completely brought back to original by an old company in Wembley, and the engine was brought back to life by Ragu Uncle….an mastermind of Peugeot 504’s and 505’s.
Anyway, waiting for the restorers to fit my hood on now, and then put all the bits back together….at least the garage is ready at home, complete with electric heating!
