A Summer of BBQ’s, Lazy Chickens and flourishing gardens
So this summer, I decided to make full use of my Kitchen Aid BBQ; I didn’t wait for anyone to come over, so just did it the Aussie way, BBQ for dinner while watching Australia or England get hammered in the Cricket! Any other way is just not the Aussie way.
The garden was in full bloom, with Spencer’s Sweet Peas (walk through Video) growing as tall as the Chicken House, and Raspberries filling up my Freezer drawer.
The Chickens were in full production mode; but this is how they spent their summer – dust baths (How to have a Dust Bath – Video) and sun bathing in front of the telly. I added a loft conversion to their House, since two of the decided it was hot enough to sleep on the Roof!
